He claimed that the BJP government at the Centre has been
unsettled by the
opposition's INDIA alliance gaining support and hence, it was planning to
rename the country as "Bharat". He criticised BJP for failing to
fulfil its promises, such as bringing "back black money from abroad and
their demonetisation exercise (of 2016)
was a colossal failure".
Udhayanidhi mentioned the controversial allocation of
government properties such as airports to businessman Gautam Adani. He
criticised the disqualification of Rahul Gandhi, saying he "was disqualified
because he raised the Hindenburg report in Parliament".
Udhayanidhi cited the CAG report that exposed alleged scams of the BJP government, including the waiver of Rs 16 lakh crore of bank loans to corporate companies and the silence of Modi on the Manipur strife.
