BOLANGIR, 17 SEPTEMBER

Woman tried to abandon a four year old child at the Bolangir new bus terminus on Monday evening during Vishwakarma celebrations.

She gave the child to an old man saying she will be back in 10 minutes as she needed refreshment. However she did not return and the police was informed.

During investigation, it was known that she belonged to the Puintala area and was married to a man from Deogaon. Two years ago, the woman left him and went to Tirupur to work in a garment factory where she is said to have fallen in love with another person.
